The Burns Tavern is located at 210 Merry St, Motherwell. It is a building in two half’s. The oldest part dates back to at least 1880 and is the Lounge and Off-Sales. However back then this was the original bar. The other half is the new section, this is the bar and is actually on Dalziel St.
This makes the Burns Tavern the oldest working pub in Motherwell.
Now it is owned by Anne and myself, although
mostly entirely run by Anne, I just do back room.
It has a history, see our pages. It goes way back. Complete with some paranormal
